Fall is in the Air

Welcome My Crafty Friends, Today Susan has a brand new release lots of new dies to play with.  Today I have created a card using the new Garden Notes Vintage Tin Milk Can I am a rustic kind of girl!  You need to visit Elizabeth Craft Designs to see all the new fabulous releases. Here is how the card was created. Step 1   Forming Cattails -  Cut floral wire cut (3) 3" pieces using Yes Glue shape cattail around each piece of wire making cattail about 1-1/2" long.  Roll in hands to shape then roll in brown pollen or flower soft (flower soft used here).  Set aside to dry at least 24 hrs. Step 2  From green cardstock cut 2 Garden Notes Leafy Berry Branch 1 add berries using Nuvo Crystal Drops - Ripened Pumpkin set aside to dry.  Once dry add berries to back side again set aside to dry.  Using red Copic marker add dots to center of each berry. Forever Friends Lilac

  Welcome My Crafty Friends, Today I am posting another "Forever Friends" card.  Last month I posted a card I had made for my dear friend of over 50 years it had bachelor buttons on it well she showed it to a friend where she lives and the friend wanted a couple of cards one of which was just like hers and another one so here it is.  I chose to use Susan's Garden Notes Lilac 2 die set. Here is how it was created. Step 1   From green cardstock cut Garden Notes Leafy Branch .  Using Nuvo Crystal Drops - Simply White add berries to branch set aside to dry then repeat on back. Step 2   Form 6" X 6" card base from white cardstock. Step 3   Cut patterned paper 5-3/4" X 5-3/4" patterned paper ( ModaScrap Fly & Scrap used here).  Adhere to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . ECD Design Team Focus on New Releases for Joset

Hello My Crafty Friends, Today the ECD Design Team is focusing on Joset's new releases now available at Elizabeth Craft Designs .  I have chosen to use her new Stitched Hexagons . Here is how I made the card. Step 1   Cut 1 set of Garden Notes - Leafy Berry Branch from green cardstock.  Lay right side down on Molding Mat using medium ball tool from Susan's Garden 4 pc. All Metal Tool Kit rub back of each leaf.  Using Nuvo Crystal Drops add berries set aside to dry. Step 2   Form 6 X 6 tent fold card from white cardstock.  Using Joset's largest Stitched Hexagon die lay onto card base with top cutting edge just above fold then die cut. (see photos) Step 3   Using largest Hexagon die and patterned paper cut 1 hexagon.  Adhere to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Valentine Pansies

Welcome all my crafty friends! Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and today I am posting a couple that I have created.  They are same card but I changed out the color of pansies a bit and used ferns.  These cards were created using Susan's new releases Garden Notes Pansy 2 and Leafy Berry Branch 1 along with a couple of her ferns from last release. The hearts are from Becky Seddon's new releases Heartfelt Love and Love Struck . Here is how the card was created. Step 1 Cut 1 Garden Notes Berry Branch 1 from green cardstock.  Using Nuvo Crystal Drops add berries let dry.  Repeat on back side and let dry. Step 2   Cut white cardstock 6" X 12" score at 6" fold on score line - 6" X 6" card base formed.  Dry emboss front of card. Step 3  Cut large solid heart from red cardstock using Becky Seddon's Heartfelt Love die set.  Attach to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .
