Rose & Spirea on Double Z Fold

  Hello My Crafty Friends! Today I have a Double Z Fold card (this card is such a fun card to create) I created and used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Floribunda Rose (new release through the Garden Gate S5-507) Spirea ( S4-1084 Spring Flora) and Eucalyptus (S4-1079 Autumn Flora Foliage & Ladybug) to embellish it. Double Z Fold base  White cardstock 6" X 12" scored at 3" & 6" Fold on score lines ( 3" mountain fold 6" valley fold) White cardstock cut 4-1/2" X 9" scored at 3" & 6" (same mountain fold & valley fold) 1st Layer Measurements  Green Cardstock 1 pc 5-3/4" square 2 pc 2-3/4" X 5-3/4" 3 pc 2-3/4" X 4-1/4" 2nd Layer Measurements Patterned Paper (Park Lane - Southern Charm) 1 pc 5-1/2" square 2 pc 2-1/2" X 5-1/2" 3 pc 2-1/2" X 4" 3rd Layer Measurements White cardstock Optional - sentiment and a place to write personal message 2 pc 2-1/4" X 3-3/4"  Clear

The Rose

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a card for you that I created using the Floribunda Rose die from Susan's Garden latest release Through the Garden Gate .   Card is 6" square tent fold created from 100# cardstock.  Green cardstock was cut 5-3/4" square adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . Navy brocade cardstock was cut 5-1/2" square then embossed using Lisa Horton's Cube 3D  Embossing Folder and attached using Clear Double Sided Adhesive to card front. Ostrich Fern was cut from green cardstock (same as the mat) shaded and shaped using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.   Susan has a YouTube video for creating ferns which can be found here . Rose and bud were created from Susan's Garden Specialty Pape r, colored with Copic Markers and shaped using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.   Susan will have YouTube video up very shortly for creating the Floribunda Rose but she did do a live video on Facebook Susan's Garden Club pag

Diagonal Lidded Treat Box

  Hello my crafty friends! Just posting a sweet little Diagonal Lidded Treat Box with a Gardenia on it created from Susan's Garden latest release Through the Garden Gate from Spellbinders .  The little treat box is just the right size to hole 4 Ferrero Rocher candies or Lindt Truffles (which I need to purchase). Susan stepped out creating this box on her Wednesday "Live" Video last week Susan's Garden Club which you can find here .  There is also another video by Paper Pixie for construction for the little box which can be found here. The Gardenia was created from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper , Copic Markers, Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit and Kids Choice Glue .  Susan will have a YouTube video up shortly for creating this flower. Basket of a Spring Bouquet

  Hello my crafty friends! Spring is in the air finally.  Today I have a card I created of a basket full of spring flowers.  Forget Me Nots from Susan's latest release with Spellbinders Through the Garden Gate along with Susan's Garden Lilac, Lily of the Valley and I created on my own Grape Hyacinth using floral wire, tape and colored Styrofoam balls. Card is 5" X 7" base created from 110# cardstock.  Green Cardstock was cut 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Patterned paper (The Paper Studio - Blanc Boutique was used here) cut 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . From Susan's Garden S6-181 Garden Basket & Glads basket was cut twice from brown cardstock cut handle off then attaching together using Bearly Art Glue embossed using basket weave embossing folder by Darice then shaded with brown ink.
