Hello my crafty friends! Todays card was created for a dear friend that is fighting a battle with Cancer.  I am hoping it will brighten her day a little. My card is a slimline 4" X 9" and adorned with a Susan's Garden Azalea & Garden Pot from her Botanical Garden Release.  The Sentiments are from Essentials by Ellen - Ellen Hutson Courage Stamp & Die Set.  Spellbinders Diagonal Stripes Slimline Embossing Folder was used for the white mat. White 110# cardstock was cut 8" X 9" then scored at 4" folded in half.  Designer paper (P13 Forest Tea Party P13-FOR-03 was used) cut 3-3/4" X 8-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  White layer was cut 3" X 8" then embossed (Spellbinders SES-024 Diagonal Stripes Slimline used here).   Using Susan's Garden Azalea & Garden Pot S5-636 from the Botanical Garden Release flowers were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper and the leaves and pot were cut from wate...

Triple Diamond Point Survivor

  Hello my crafty friends! Today I have my 4th Breast Cancer Survivor Card.  It is a Triple Diamond Card a fun and easy card to make. Card Base White Cardstock 1 pc 6" X 12"  Scored at 6" and folded on score line then burnish for crisp fold.  Cut 2" off from bottom of card front then cut into (3) 2" squares.  1 pc 1-1/2" square 2 pcs 3-1/2" X 5-1/2" Black Matte  Cardstock 1 pc 5-3/4" square 1 pc 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" 3 pcs 1-3/4" square Using Clear Double Sided Adhesive attach 5-3/4" square black cardstock to inside of card.  Attach white 3-1/2" X 5-1/2" to top of black inside card.  Attach 3-3/4" X 5-3/4" black cardstock to top of card front.  Adhere white 3-1/2" X 5-1/2" cardstock over black cardstock on front.  Adhere the black 1-3/4" squares to 2" squares.  Stamped sentiment on white 1-1/2" square (diamond) in black Momento Ink.  Lay the 2 diamond pieces on card front  fa...

Hello My Crafty Friends, First and foremost I want to take the time to say THANK YOU to everyone on the front lines doctors, nurses, janitors, food service, grocery store employees as well as the truck drivers etc.  I hope that those that can stay home do stay home so we can get this horrible virus under control. Today I have a card that I created for a dear friend that has just been diagnosed with breast cancer which is very scary in itself but during this pandemic it is scary ten fold. A couple of weeks ago Susan's "Live" on Susan's Garden Club Facebook page had the Bells of Ireland which was intriguing as it was combining different pieces from several die sets.  Here is how I created it. Step 1 form 6" X 6" card base ( tent fold or side fold whichever your preference).
