Happy Birthday Gardenia

Welcome my crafty friends! Today I have a card for you that I have used 2 flowers from Susan's Garden Club from Spellbinders newest release Through the Garden Gate .  I have used the Gardenia and the Bee Blossom (Gaura).  I also die the Heat Embossed background. My card for you today is a 6" X 6" tent fold card. Patterned paper was cut 5-3/4" square attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Spellbinders Candlewick Circles   largest 2 dies were used to cut  1white circle then a pink one was cut using just the largest die which is then attached to back of white circle using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . For the Heat Embossed piece that I used on circle I followed Marion Emberson 's YouTube Tutorial found here.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNKc4jzXo3Y   Piece was attached to circle using Bearly Art Glue. Framed Bee Blossom & Oriental Lilies

 Hello my crafty friends, My card today is a framed card with Bee Blossom (Gaura) and Oriental Lilies .  The Bee Blossom is from Susan's Garden new release Through the Garden Gate from Spellbinders which is another great release. Card is a 6" X 6" frame on a 6" X 6" tent fold card.  Susan has a video for creating the frame which you can find here.   https://www.facebook.com/SusansGardenClub/videos/433190574264552   Design paper (Forever & Always by P13 was used here) is approximately 4" square which was attached to inside of frame using clear double sided adhesive.  1/8" strips were cut from black cardstock and adhered with Bearly Art Glue around inner edge of frame (this idea came from my dear friend Selma when I couldn't figure out why I didn't like my card).  Decorative corners were cut from same cardstock that frame was cut from they were then run through my little Xyron sticker maker and adhered to corners.  Black adhesive backed g

Bucket full of Forget Me Nots & Lily of the Valley

Hello my crafty friends, Great news I am so excited to tell you Susan has a brand new release available at Scrapbook.com and a couple other places it is called Through the Garden Gate and contains Forget Me Nots (which I have used here), Hollyhock, Gardenia, Floribunda Rose, Beeblossom and Sentiment Stamp Set.   Another great release for sure. My card today is a 4-1/2" X 5-3/4" tent fold.  Yellow cardstock with a white core was cut 4-1/2" by 11-1/2" scored at 5-3/4".  Swiss Dot embossing folder was used to emboss front of card only then sanded to reveal white core of paper. Using the 3 largest dies from Spellbinders Candlewick Rectangles and white cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back a frame was cut.  Frame was adhered to front of card. S6-182 Wooden Bucket was cut twice once from white cardstock and once from gray cardstock both with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the back.   Attach white one on top of gray one.  A couple of gray Copic mar

Smiling Sunflowers

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have another sunflower card for you.  I don't know about you but I love sunflowers they are such a happy flower and they always make me smile. Card is a 5" X 7" cut from a tan cardstock. Pattern paper (tan and red check) was cut 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Watercolor paper was cut 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" Pink Fresh Fern Stencil was used along with Texture Paste tinted green to create ferns then set aside to dry.  Once dry attach to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Susan's Specialty Paper was used to cut 4 Sunflowers from her new release Garden Favorites .  Flowers were colored using Copic markers and leaves were cut from green cardstock.  Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit was used to shape flowers and leaves.  Susan has a YouTube video on creating the Sunflowers which can be found here . Brave Sunflower

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a simple card which is a tribute to the people of Ukraine.  I have used Sunflower die from Susan's new release Garden Favorites from Spellbinders. Photo below was my inspiration for my card.  Card base is 6" X 6" 100# cardstock. White cardstock was cut 5-3/4" square then using black Momento ink and a brush to apply ink rubbed all over the square.  It doesn't have to be even as you want shadow areas.  Cardstock was then adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . For little dish white cardstock was cut 2" X 2-1/2" (cut 2 and glue together) then embossed.  Pop dots were placed center back and Kids Choice Glue around very edge on sides and bottom leaving top open attach to lower right of black square.  A little gray ink was brushed on to give shadow. Heirloom Daffodils & Peach Blossoms Anniversary Card

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a 5" X 7" card I created adorned with Susan's Garden by Spellbinders flowers.  I have used the Peach Blossom from Susan's newest release Garden Favorites as well as Heirloom Daffodil and Antique Vase from Summer Flora Collection . Base is 100# cardstock cut 10" X 7" scored at 5" on 10" side. Patterned paper cut 6-3/4" X 4-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . Penny Black Window Die was used for window backed with piece of cardstock made to look like sky.  Attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . (window doesn't show much but it is there). Using Susan's Antique Vase die from Summer Flora Collection 2 were cut from navy blue white core cardstock adhere 1 on top of other using Bearly  Art Glue .  Once dry (it dries quickly) vase was embossed with embossing folder then lightly sanded so white core is revealed on pattern.  Next Ultra Thick Embos
