Daisy & Chicory Envelope Card

Hello my crafty friends welcome to my blog. Today I have an envelope card that I created and decorated with Susan's Garden Note Daisies, Ferns, Chicory (created from Susan's Garden Notes Aster die set) and Jasmine. Susan did the envelope card a couple of weeks ago on her Garden Club Live found here .  Another good video for making the envelope card is by Sam Calcott it can be found on YouTube here . From white soft finish cardstock created envelope and card base.  Used pattern paper to decorate envelope.  (An old Close to My Heart Paper used here)  I stamped  quote in black then used some little blotchy stamps with black ink to decorate inside of my card.  Close to My Heart stamp set - A Million Little Things was used. Created 4 Susan's Garden Notes Daisies, 6 asters (cut from blue cardstock), some Jasmine and ferns - Ladder and Maidenhair.  A few small branches were tucked in arrangement. Oh Happy Daisy

Hello My Crafty Friends, Hope you all had a great Mother's Day at least the best you could under the circumstances.  I am sure it was much different than any other you have celebrated.  Our lives are turned upside down right now I do hope that creating beautiful things has gotten you through so far. Early fall we will have a brand new release of Susan's wonderful dies with Spellbinders I can't wait but until then we are using her old releases which I know are hard to find but there are some out there. Here is a card I created for you using Susan's Garden Notes Shasta Daisy and Jasmine along with Suzanne Cannon - A Way With Words - Happy Birthday Small.  The embossing folder is one that came in a magazine several years ago but not sure and there is no brand name on it. Created a 6" X 6" card base from white Soft Finish Cardstock.  Cut green cardstock 5-3/4" square adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  White Soft Finish Cardstock was cut...

Hello My Crafty Friends, Another sympathy card today. Here is how it was created. Step 1  6 X 6 card base.  Cut colored card stock 5-3/4" square adhere to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  Cut white Soft Finish Cardstock 5" square emboss with an embossing folder.  Adhere to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Step 2  Cut 2 Ginger Jars from white Soft Finish Cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back.  Adhere 1 on top of other.  Color using Alcohol Markers (Copic Sketch used here B28 and B29).  Add clear embossing powder to front cover with embossing powder heat set.  Add a couple pop dots lower center back adhere to card front. Step 3  Create 1 Shasta Daisy and 1 bud as well as leaves and stems cut from green cardstock.  Susan has a video for the daisy you can find it here Step 4  Add flowers to Ginger Jar using Kids Choice Glue.
