Blackeye Susan Birthday Greetings

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have for you a slimline card that I created for my daughter-in-law's birthday.  I have used   Spellbinders Susan's Garden new release Birds & Bees.   I have used Black Eyed Susan S2-376, Pom Pom Dahlia S4-1317 and 3D Embossing Folder Basket of Sunflowers E3D-043 .  The Happy Birthday are Karen Burniston Dies.  The cattails are some that I had created a while ago using Yes Glue and brown FlowerSoft (FlowerSoft is no longer available unfortunately). Card base is 3-1/2" X 8-1/2" using black cardstock.  White cardstock cut 3-1/4" X  8-1/4" then embossed using Basket of Sunflower Embossing Folder and attached to card front using Bearly Art Glue. Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper used for all flowers and watercolor paper for the leaves. Parasol & Asters Survivor

  Hello my crafty friends! As we all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the last several years I have tried to do at least  2-3 cards for survivors. I like to let them know that they haven't been forgotten just because they have survived.  This is my first for this year and I want to get a couple more done before end of month.  Time has gotten away from this year.  GO GET YOUR MAMMOGRAMS PLEASE!!! The card base is 5" X 7" white 100# cardstock.  First mat is silver mirrored cardstock cut 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.   Second mat is pink cardstock cut 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue .  The next mat is white cardstock cut 4-1/4" X 6-1/4" then embossed and adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue . Wedded Bliss

Hello my crafty friends, Hope all of you are doing well.  I know I haven't posted much but still busy in the yard.  Winter is long here so want to get as much outside time in before the cold and snow. Today I have a wedding card that I created for our nephew and his bride.  It was a beautiful wedding (in spite of all the rain) very emotional but full of love.   My card today is a 5' X 7" Card base is burgundy cardstock (one of the colors in the wedding). Mat 1 is white glittered cardstock cut using an old Spellbinder die S-005  5" X 7" Elegant Labels 4 largest die and adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.   Second mat was using same die set but next to largest die and white cardstock attached to card front using dimensional tape. Spellbinders Susan's Garden has a new release called Birds & Bees which I have used for my floral arrangement.  I chose the Pom Pom Dahlia S4-1317  cut from Susan's Specialty Paper , colored, shaped with Susan's

My Little Red Wagon with Blackeye Susans

Hello my crafty friends! It has been a while since I have posted as I have been enjoying my summer outside as much as possible as winter in Maine is long and cold. Today I finally have a card I have created using Spellbinders Susan's Garden newest release called Birds & Bees Garden   I have used the Blackeye Susan  S2-376 and S4-1320 Autumn Foliage . Card Base is 5" X 7" Black Cardstock.  First mat layer is red cardstock cut to 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Second  mat layer is black & white plaid cut 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" adhered to card front and adhered with Clear Double Sided Adhesive. From white cardstock I cut a large oval big enough for my wagon then I embossed using Susan's Bamboo 3D embossing Folder E3D-044 from the Painters Garden Release.   I attached oval to center of card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. My wagon is a Cricut die cut which I attached to card front using dimensional
