Hello My Crafty Friends! Been busy working on cards that have been ordered.  My card today is a Double Z Fold adorned with Potted Azalea .  I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden S5-636 Azalea & Garden Pot set from Botanical Garden Release . My card is a 6" X 6".  I looked for Double Z Fold cards on YouTube most were a different size but it is very easy to change size. My card base was created using 110# white cardstock cut 6" X 12" scored at 3 and 6 - mountain fold on 3 score line and valley fold on 6 score line.  The second piece of white cardstock was cut 5" X 9" scored again at 3" and 6" with Mountain fold at 3" and Valley Fold at 6".  Lisa Curcio has a great YouTube video which is the one I used.  You can find it here  .  I cut purple cardstock 1/4" smaller than each section then the patterned paper was cut 1/4" smaller than the colored cardstock.  All adhered to card base using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.   N...

Hello my crafty friends! Todays card was created for a dear friend that is fighting a battle with Cancer.  I am hoping it will brighten her day a little. My card is a slimline 4" X 9" and adorned with a Susan's Garden Azalea & Garden Pot from her Botanical Garden Release.  The Sentiments are from Essentials by Ellen - Ellen Hutson Courage Stamp & Die Set.  Spellbinders Diagonal Stripes Slimline Embossing Folder was used for the white mat. White 110# cardstock was cut 8" X 9" then scored at 4" folded in half.  Designer paper (P13 Forest Tea Party P13-FOR-03 was used) cut 3-3/4" X 8-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  White layer was cut 3" X 8" then embossed (Spellbinders SES-024 Diagonal Stripes Slimline used here).   Using Susan's Garden Azalea & Garden Pot S5-636 from the Botanical Garden Release flowers were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper and the leaves and pot were cut from wate...

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a card that once again is adorned with another flower from Spellbinders/Susan's Garden Painter's Garden Collection - the Zinnia .  Wow what fun this flower is there are so many different colors.  The colors I have used on this card were inspired by a picture I saw on line called Queen Red Lime. Card base is 6" X 6" tent fold card.  Copper mat was cut 5-3/4" X 5-3/4"  (because I wanted to cut down on bulk I cut center out of copper mat leaving 1/2" frame all around) green mat was cut 5-1/2" X 5-1/2" and white was cut 5-1/4" X 5-1/4" then embossed using 3D embossing folder Bamboo Trellis from Painter's Garden Collection .  All were layered onto card front using Bearly Art Glue . The pot was created using Spellbinders/Susan's Garden  S6-180 Garden Pot & Dahlia from Summer Flora Collection .  The pot was cut twice once from copper cardstock and once from white cardstock.  To age the co...
