Potted Cactus Dahlias Survivor #6

Hello my crafty friends. Here is my 6th and final card for Breast Cancer Awareness 2021 it is a 5" X 7" adorned with Susan's Garden Club Cactus Dahlia & Ornamental Garden Pottery. Card base was created from 100# cardstock.  Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4 cut from white cardstock attached to card front center piece was attached using dimensional tape. Ornamental Garden Pot was cut twice from Susan's Specialty Paper then one glued on top of other.  Black Copic marker was used to color front and edges.  Copper Metallic Rub On was rubbed over it adhered to card front using pop dots in lower center and Kids Choice Glue on very edge of each side and bottom. 3 Cactus Dahlias and 2 buds were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper colored with Copic markers and shaped using Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit .  Susan has YouTube videos for creating Ornamental Garden Pottery, Cactus Dahlias, Ivy and Winter Boughs & Evergreen Shrubs. Double Z Fold Hibiscus Survivor #5

  Hello my crafty friends. This post is of another Breast Cancer Survivor card it is #5 and I have 1 more to post.  It is hard to believe how many people I know that have been affected by this terrible disease. This card is another Double Z Fold card which is really easy and fun to do and I have adorned it with Susan's Garden Club Hibiscus along with Winter Boughs & Evergreen Shrubs.  Becca Feekins Elegant Twist Rectangles was also used.  Susan did this card on one of here Lives on Susan's Garden Club you can find it here . Here are your paper cuts and score lines for card base and layers for my card. Triple Diamond Point Survivor

  Hello my crafty friends! Today I have my 4th Breast Cancer Survivor Card.  It is a Triple Diamond Card a fun and easy card to make. Card Base White Cardstock 1 pc 6" X 12"  Scored at 6" and folded on score line then burnish for crisp fold.  Cut 2" off from bottom of card front then cut into (3) 2" squares.  1 pc 1-1/2" square 2 pcs 3-1/2" X 5-1/2" Black Matte  Cardstock 1 pc 5-3/4" square 1 pc 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" 3 pcs 1-3/4" square Using Clear Double Sided Adhesive attach 5-3/4" square black cardstock to inside of card.  Attach white 3-1/2" X 5-1/2" to top of black inside card.  Attach 3-3/4" X 5-3/4" black cardstock to top of card front.  Adhere white 3-1/2" X 5-1/2" cardstock over black cardstock on front.  Adhere the black 1-3/4" squares to 2" squares.  Stamped sentiment on white 1-1/2" square (diamond) in black Momento Ink.  Lay the 2 diamond pieces on card front  fa

Elegant Labels with Glads

Welcome my crafty friends! Here is my third Breast Cancer Survivor Card hard to believe how many people I know that has been affected by this horrible disease and so glad many are survivors.  I truly love making these cards for people each year sending them love. Card 3 is  5" X 7"adorned with Susan's Garden Gladiolus . Card base formed from white cardstock then front was embossed using Delicate Dots by Craftwell .  I use this embossing folder a lot I love it as it 8-1/2 X 11. Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4 die set (Don't think this is available from Spellbinders anymore but there are plenty of other dies that could be used) was used to cut shapes from white cardstock as well as the largest die to cut a solid pink label shape.  The white label pieces were adhered over the pink label using Bearly Art Glue . Using Susan's Garden Berry Basket & Gladiolus die set I cut 6 flowers from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper .  Leaves and 4 stems were cut from green ca

Bella Luce Oval & Lilies Survivor

  Hello My Crafty Friends, My card today is the second Cancer Survivor Card I have done for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies please get those mammograms!!! The card is a 5" X 7" card base patterned paper is 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" adhered to front using clear double sided Adhesive. Bella Luce Oval die (unfortunately I don't think this is available anymore but most any oval will do) was used to cut 1 in white and 1 in pink.  On ovals using black ink sentiments were stamped. (Setiments is from a stamp & die set I got a few years ago Essentials By Ellen - Ellen Hutson - BCRF) White oval was attached to front of card using dimensional tape and the pink one was attached to inside using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.   Hello Crafty Friends, As you all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - ladies get your mammograms!!!   For the last several years I have made cards for Breast Cancer Survivor cards choosing different recipients each year classmates, friends and co-workers.  This year I have 5 (maybe 6) I am doing and this card is the first. Pink Gladiolus On Dragonfly Wing

Hi my crafty friends welcome to my blog! Autumn has arrived here in Maine the leaves are turning into beautiful colors.  This is outside my window at the moment.    Although I do love early fall and the beautiful colors it brings I am not quite ready to give up my flowers so as the real ones fade away I continue with my paper gardening. My card I have created for you today show cases Susan's new Summer Flora Release Gladiolus one of my favorites - who am I kidding all of Susan's dies are favorites. Card base is 6" X 6" white 100# cardstock and the front embossed with dots.  I have a few embossing folders that are 8-1/2 X 11 by Craftwell.  I love this size as it allows me to emboss larger areas.
