Basket of a Spring Bouquet

  Hello my crafty friends! Spring is in the air finally.  Today I have a card I created of a basket full of spring flowers.  Forget Me Nots from Susan's latest release with Spellbinders Through the Garden Gate along with Susan's Garden Lilac, Lily of the Valley and I created on my own Grape Hyacinth using floral wire, tape and colored Styrofoam balls. Card is 5" X 7" base created from 110# cardstock.  Green Cardstock was cut 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Patterned paper (The Paper Studio - Blanc Boutique was used here) cut 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . From Susan's Garden S6-181 Garden Basket & Glads basket was cut twice from brown cardstock cut handle off then attaching together using Bearly Art Glue embossed using basket weave embossing folder by Darice then shaded with brown ink.   Hello my creative friends, Today I have a card I created in honor of all those men and women gave their lives for our freedom. My card is a twisted easel with Spellbinders Petite Picot Oval and a basket full of Susan's Garden Club Lily of the Valley from her Spring Floral release.  I wove a small basket from some leftover chair caning that I had and used a small flag removed from a stick and folded to fit basket rim. S usan's Lily of the Valley was cut 5 times shaped and assembled using Susan's Specialty Cardstock.  Leaves were cut from green cardstock 5 times giving you 10 leaves.  They were shaded and shaped using Susan's Deluxe Tool Set. Card base was 6" X 6" with front panel scored diagonally fold on score line into mountain fold.  Patterned paper was cut 5-3/4" square adhered to inside of card and card front using clear double sided adhesive.  On front panel I made sure to put adhesive on each side of diagonal score line as close as possible ...

Welcome my crafty friends, So glad you stopped by. Today I have a card I created using Susan Garden Club - Autumn Flora - Woodland Garden Leaves. Card base 6" X 6" from white cardstock Colored mat is 5-3/4" X 5-3/4" adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive Die cut is Spellbinders Nestabilities Candlewick Square Etched Dies cut from white cardstock. Susan's Autumn Quotes Stamp Set was used for sentiment stamped in black ink before attaching to card. Dimensional tape was used to adhere die cut to card front. Using brown cardstock cut 2 berry branches adhere 1 on top of other using liquid glue. Shade using brown ink. Die cut little flowers from yellow cardstock shaped using medium ball tool. Kids Choice Glue was used to adhere little flowers to berry branch. Using Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Drops make bittersweet berries on branches set aside to dry. Family Hydrangeas

Hello My Crafty Friends, Today I have another card for you that I created,  my inspiration actually being bouquet of dried hydrangeas that sits on my dresser in an old antique vase.  The hydrangeas are ones that grow across the front of my house they are called Bobo.  These hydrangeas have been on my dresser since I cut them last fall and one day as I looked at them my inspiration hit me. Inspiration: Here is how it was created. Step 1   Card base is 5" X 7 - I used Tonic Studios Craft Perfect Ivory White Card Blanks.  These card blanks are very nice quality also com in white and other sizes. Step 2   Cut colored cardstock 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" using Oval die set ( Susan's Garden Notes Fitted Frame It used here) choose oval one size smaller than what you want for opening - die cut oval in cardstock keeping it close to top.    Cut Ivory cardstock 4-1/2" X 6-1/2"  Using next size up oval die cut oval adhere ivory on top of colored using Clear Doubl...

Enjoying making paper flowers as here in Maine we still have lots of snow on the ground and more to come - we won't see anything growing outside for a while. Today I have another card using a couple of Susan's new releases you are going to love them.  What fun this new release is. Here is how the card was created. Step 1  For 6" X 6" card base from white Soft Finish Cardstock . Step 2   Create 6" X 6"  ModaScrap Happy Frame from white Soft Finish Cardstock . Step 3  Cut patterned paper 5-3/4" square adhere to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Adhere frame to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . Step 4  Cut 2 Garden Notes Bushel Baskets from brown cardstock which has Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back.  Adhere 1 on top of other.  Using Distress Ink shade basket.  Remove protective paper from back add couple pop dots to center back adhere to card front.
