Twisted Easel Ice Skates

Image
Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a Twisted Easel Christmas Card for you which I have adorned with Spellbinders Susan's Garden Ice Skate s from the newest release Winter Garden .  My skates were created to resemble my last pair of ice skates that I had.  My parents had bought them for me for Christmas when I was a teenager.  I had asked for white patent leather but I did not want fur around the collar but low and behold that is what my parents could find that year because way back then there was no internet to search. YouTube video for card base can be found here by Sam Calcott .  Spellbinders Picot Petite Ovals S5-433 was used to cut large oval from red cardstock.  Adhered to left side of diagonal fold front of card using Bearly Art Glue .  5-3/4" square striped paper  ( Paper Studio Diagonal Stripe ) was adhered to inside of card. The Ice Skate Die from Winter Garden Release .  I cut 4 from 110# white cardstock glued 2 together for 1 skate - I made 2.  Using Ultra Thi

Hello my crafty friends! Today I made another Peek A Boo Slider Card. I had so much fun making my other one.  I even have another one cut out - it is going to be a Christmas card.  Tracey Farr's card on aNNie's World Wide Crafty Invention Facebook page is what inspired me to make the Peek A Boo Slider Card. Today I decided to use an actual picture of my arbor in my yard.  Printed a 4 X 6 picture then die cut using same rectangle die I used to cut card.   Instructions for card base I used was a Tina Zinck YouTube video found here . Susan's Wooden Bucket and Geranium die set (S6-182) was used for this card.  I turned wooden bucket into a washtub cutting it from gray cardstock (twice) and embossed with Ranger Watering Can  E mbossing Powder. Geraniums were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper colored using Copic Markers RV19 & R81 then shaped using Susan's Garden Ultimate Tool Kit.  Susan has a YouTube video found here . Paper Used is P13 Till We Meet Again
