Echinacea Double Easel and Anemone Double Z Fold

  Hello My Crafty Friends!  Here are a couple of cards I created end of last year but never got posted.  The Echinacea and Anemone are from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Summer Solstice Release. Potted Azalea Double Z Fold

Hello My Crafty Friends! Been busy working on cards that have been ordered.  My card today is a Double Z Fold adorned with Potted Azalea .  I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden S5-636 Azalea & Garden Pot set from Botanical Garden Release . My card is a 6" X 6".  I looked for Double Z Fold cards on YouTube most were a different size but it is very easy to change size. My card base was created using 110# white cardstock cut 6" X 12" scored at 3 and 6 - mountain fold on 3 score line and valley fold on 6 score line.  The second piece of white cardstock was cut 5" X 9" scored again at 3" and 6" with Mountain fold at 3" and Valley Fold at 6".  Lisa Curcio has a great YouTube video which is the one I used.  You can find it here  .  I cut purple cardstock 1/4" smaller than each section then the patterned paper was cut 1/4" smaller than the colored cardstock.  All adhered to card base using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.   N...

Double Z Hydrangea & Bee Blossom

Hello My Crafty Friends, Today I have a Double Z Fold Card and I have used Susan's Garden Autumn Hydrangea from Autumn Flora Release and Bee Blossom from Garden Gate Release .  I love this Double Z Fold Card. Double Z Fold Card Base - white 110# cardstock 6" X 12" scored at 3" and 6" mountain fold at 3" and valley fold at 6".  I double matted using black cardstock for first layer 2 pcs 2-3/4" X 5-3/4" and 1 at 5-3/4" square. Second layer (patterned paper Bloom With Grace Collection from Crafters Companion ) is 2 pcs 2-1/2 X 5-1/2 and 1 pc 5-1/2" square. Layers were added to card base using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  1 pc white 110# cardstock 4-1/2" X 9" scored at 3" and 6" fold mountain and valley.  Black cardstock cut 2-3/4" X 4-1/4 " 2 pcs add to middle and right panels using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  Patterned paper cut at 2-1/2" X 4" 2 pcs adhered to black panels.  Place left pan...

Rose & Spirea on Double Z Fold

Today I have a Double Z Fold card (this card is such a fun card to create) I created and used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Floribunda Rose (new release through the Garden Gate S5-507) Spirea ( S4-1084 Spring Flora) and Eucalyptus (S4-1079 Autumn Flora Foliage & Ladybug) to embellish it. Bearded Iris & Freesia Birthday

Welcome my crafty friends! Today my card I have for you is a double Z fold and has a couple of flowers from Susan's Garden new release - Garden Favorites from Spellbinders .  I have used the Bearded Iris and the Freesia .  I have also used Branch from Winter Bough set and the Berry Branch from Foliage - made as bittersweet plus Ladder Fern.  The oval is from Spellbinders Elegant Twist Ovals set. The card base can be found here on Susan's Live dated March 24, 2021.   Susan's Garden Bearded Iris was cut 3 times from Susan's Garde Specialty Paper can colored with Copic markers then shaped using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.    1 Freesia stem was cut and shaped.  Susan has YouTube videos for creating all her die sets.   Bittersweet should be created ahead of time so they can dry thoroughly.   Hello my crafty friends. This post is of another Breast Cancer Survivor card it is #5 and I have 1 more to post.  It is hard to believe how many people I know that have been affected by this terrible disease. This card is another Double Z Fold card which is really easy and fun to do and I have adorned it with Susan's Garden Club Hibiscus along with Winter Boughs & Evergreen Shrubs.  Becca Feekins Elegant Twist Rectangles was also used.  Susan did this card on one of here Lives on Susan's Garden Club you can find it here .   Hello Crafty Friends, As you all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - ladies get your mammograms!!!   For the last several years I have made cards for Breast Cancer Survivor cards choosing different recipients each year classmates, friends and co-workers.  This year I have 5 (maybe 6) I am doing and this card is the first. Double Z-Fold Peony

Welcome my fellow paper gardeners! Today I have created a Double Z Fold Card which Susan did on her Facebook Live - Susan's Garden Club last week.    I have chosen Susan's new Spring Flora dies Peony, Lily of the Valley and Ferns & Ivy.  You can find it here . Here are the dimensions for cutting pieces I copied from Susan's page. Assemble card base per Susan's instructions.  Your layers should be adhered before attaching the second Z Fold piece. From Susan's Garden Club Specialty Paper I cut 1 Peony and 2 Buds colored with Copic Marker RV09 then shaped using Susan's Garden Club Deluxe Tool Kit (Susan's YouTube video for Peony can be found here ).  Cut leaves from green cardstock shade and shape.
