Double Z-Fold Peony

Welcome my fellow paper gardeners! Today I have created a Double Z Fold Card which Susan did on her Facebook Live - Susan's Garden Club last week.    I have chosen Susan's new Spring Flora dies Peony, Lily of the Valley and Ferns & Ivy.  You can find it here . Here are the dimensions for cutting pieces I copied from Susan's page. Assemble card base per Susan's instructions.  Your layers should be adhered before attaching the second Z Fold piece. From Susan's Garden Club Specialty Paper I cut 1 Peony and 2 Buds colored with Copic Marker RV09 then shaped using Susan's Garden Club Deluxe Tool Kit (Susan's YouTube video for Peony can be found here ).  Cut leaves from green cardstock shade and shape. Sweet Pea & Lily of the Valley

  Welcome my fellow paper gardeners, Today I have a 6" X 6" tent fold card sporting Susan's Garden Club / Spellbinders new Spring Flora Sweet Pea and Lily of the Valley. 100# white cardstock was cut 6" by 12" scored at 6" folded on score line.  Swiss Dot embossing folder was used to emboss card front. From off white cardstock 1 Spellbinders Floral Lace Frame was cut.  1 piece of  patterned paper was cut the exact measurement of frame.  Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue was used to adhere the frame to top of patterned paper.  Clear double sided adhesive was used to adhere the frame to card front.  Used 2 circle dies (sized to fit inside frame opening) to cut 3 frames from white cardstock.  Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue was used to adhere the frames together also to adhere circle inside of frame opening. From Susan's Garden Club 6 Sweet Peas were cut (leaves were cut from green cardstock) then colored using Copic Markers.  They were shaped using Susan'

Kerria Japonica Blues

Welcome My Fellow Paper Gardeners, Today I have created a slimline card using Susan's Garden Club / Spellbinders new Spring Flora release Kerria Japonica, Ferns & Ivy as well as the Fall release Foliage & ladybug . Card base is 4-1/4" X 9-1/4" patterned paper cut 4" X 9" adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive.  Frames were created by using different size slim rectangle dies together to cut card stock.  Frames adhered to card front us Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue . Several Kerria Japonica were cut from Susan's Garden Club Specialty Cardstock then colored with Copic Markers.  Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit was used to shape flowers and leaves.  For creating these sweet happy flowers you can watch Susan's YouTube found here . Double Peony & Spirea

Hello my fellow paper gardeners - welcome to my blog. Today I have a card for you that I created using Susan's Garden Club / Spellbinders Spring Flora Collection.  I have chosen the Double Peony and Spirea along with some Ferns and Spellbinders Shapeabilities Nobel Chatelaine Etched Dies Vintage Treasures by Becca Feeken. Card base was cut from 8-1/2 X 11 black cardstock scored at 5-1/2" using the largest die of the Nobel Chatelaine Etched Die Set laying it just above the fold taping in place with removable tape see picture (I used white cardstock for picture purposes).    Using 3 largest dies from Nobel Chatelaine taped together cut from white cardstock.  Using the largest die cut 1 piece from Black cardstock adhere white die cut on top of black die cut using Bearly  Art Precision Glue then glue to front of card lining up edges (very top will extend a little above the fold).  Susan's Garden Club Spring Release - Peony and Spirea were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty

Double Frame Parrot Tulips & Lily of the Valley

Hello all you lovely paper gardeners , Today I have a double frame card I created using Lily of the Valley and Parrot Tulips from Susan's Garden Club / Spellbinders new Spring Flora Release. Card base is 6 X 6 with 6 X 6 frame which is 3/4" wide and 1/4" deep.  Second Frame is 4-1/2" square 1/4" wide and deep.  Susan's Facebook Live she did making frames can be found here .   Lily of the Valley and Parrot Tulips  were cut from Susan's Specialty Cardstock and shaped using Susan's Garden Club Deluxe Tool Kit .  This too kit is fantastic love the size of handle as it fits these old arthritic hands.  Leaves and stems were cut from green cardstock shaded and shaped.  Videos for making all the flowers can be found on YouTube. 3-1/2" square printed paper was cut for center of frame adhered with clear double sided adhesive.      Quote was stamped in black ink using Susan's Garden Club  Spring Quotes Clear Stamp Set and cut using an old Spe

Tumbling Hyacinth Slimline

  Hello My Paper Gardener Friends, Today I have a card for you using Susan's Garden Club / Spellbinder Spring Flora Hyacinth on a slim line card. Card Base is 4-1/4 X 9-1/4 Using new Hyacinth die set cut, color and shape 3 flowers and leaves.  Flowers were cut from Susan's Garden Club White Specialty Cardstock the leaves were cut from green cardstock and shaded.  Susan's new Deluxe Tool Kit was used to shape flowers and leaves.  Susan's YouTube video for creating hyacinths can be found here . Purple cardstock cut 3-3/4 X 8-3/4 adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive. Green cardstock cut 3-1/4 X 8-1/4 adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive. Cut 3 pieces of white cardstock 2-1/4 square embossed with Swiss Dot embossing folder.  Adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive spacing evenly. Using Kids Choice Glue around edges only of Hyacinth adhere to white squares alternating direction of flower.  Add leaves and ladybug. I h

Sweet Pea Diamond Easel

 Hello my fellow paper gardeners, Today it is my turn again to post a card today for Susan's Garden Club Spellbinders Design Team.   I decided I better do something other than the sweet little Lily of the Valley so I  have chosen to do a card with Sweet Peas ivy and fern from Susan's new Spring Flora Release.   My card today is a diamond easel card which Susan did on her Facebook Live - Susan's Garden Club which you can find here .  This card is a fun and easy card to create. Create card base and add printed cardstock. Mason jar was created using shrink film.  Cricut was used to cut a mason jar pattern from cardstock then traced onto shrink film and then fussy cut by hand.  blue Copics marker was used to color back side of jar then using instructions on the shrink film packaging shrink.  Small jute twin was wrapped around top of jar and a little Bearly Art Precision Glue added to end to hold.  Create a bow from same jute and adhere to jar front. Horseshoe with Lily of the Valley

  Hello Paper Gardeners, Today I have created a frame card using Susan's Garden Club Spellbinders new Spring Flora Release dies Lily of the Valley and Ivy from Ferns & Ivy set.  Love this new Lily of the Valley die set. Card base is 6" X 6" patterned paper cut 5-3/4" X 5-3/4" attached to card front using clear double sided adhesive.  Frame was created per Susan's instruction on her "live video" here  (Coreopsis and Frames).  I created a 6" X6" frame instead of an 8" X 8" so my measurements are 4 pieces of white cardstock 6" X 3-1/4" scored at 3/4", 1-1/4", 2" and 2-1/2".  When making cut out you come down 3/4" instead of 1" Horseshoe was cut on Cricut 3 times colored with brown and gray Copic markers.  Use Bearly Art Glue to adhered horseshoes together. Metallic rub ons used over top.  Adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue in several spots on back of horseshoe. Ivy was cut
