Carnation & Mock Orange in Shadowbox Frame

Image
Hello my crafty friends! Today I have created a shadowbox frame card and used the Carnation S4-1325 and Mock Orange S3-496 from Spellbinders Susan's Garden new release Through the Arbor for the bouquet along with Berry Branch S4-1320 Autumn Foliage from Birds & Bees Garden Collection.   Paper is Mintay - Bohemian Wedding MT-BOH-04 .  This card is a bit busier than what I normally do but I liked the paper and the color of the Carnation just matched so well. Susan did a "Live back on April 5, 2023 for making this frame card you can find the video   here  https://www.facebook.com/SusansGardenClub/videos/433190574264552 I added a circle in center of frame for backdrop of the bouquet. For the bouquet I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper to cut 1 Carnation and 8 Mock Orange Flowers.  The Mock Orange stems/leaves were cut from 140# watercolor paper. I cut the Berry Branch from green cardstock then added Styrofoam balls that were colored with RV69 C

Carnations on Double Pop Out Gatefold

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a card that Sam Calcott calls a Double Pop Out Gatefold Card .  Sam does some really awesome cards on YoutTube.  The link for this style card can be found here   I have changed it a little because I have used Spellbinders Susan's Garden flowers on front of card. I have chosen Susan's Carnation S4-1325 from her latest release Through the Arbor , Lemon Verbena S4-1278 from Victorian Garden Foliage from The Victorian Garden release and Berry Branch from Foliage and Ladybug S4-1079 from the Autumn Flora release .  The 3D embossing folder that I used on the front is called Weeping Willow by Creative Expressions EF3D-071. I followed Sam Calcott's video to create card until I got to the front then I added an oval frame centered on card front.  Frame was attached using Bearly Art Glue and then a craft knife was used to cut in middle being careful not to cut the card base itself.  I Used Spellbinders Fluted Classics Ovals die set S

Framed Delphinium Slimline Card

Hello my crafty friends! So looking forward to spring as I am sure you all are but until then I am paper gardening. My latest flower from Spellbinders Susan's Garden "Through the Arbor" is the beautiful Delphinium S4-1326 a stately flower in the garden.  To frame the beautiful Delphinium I used Spellbinders Half Slimline Oval.S4-1198 . Card base is a 4" X 9" created from 100# white cardstock.  Black cardstock mat is 8-1/2" X 3-1/2" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Half Slimline Oval was cut from White cardstock twice then I laid it on sheets of sticky dots to pick up adhesive (you could also add double sided adhesive to back of cardstock before die cutting) then adhered to black mat. Next I cut the Delphinium flowers from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper, colored with alcohol inks ( I used OLO V0.3 & V0.4) and shaped using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit . Leaves and stems were cut fr

Hi my crafty friends! Today I have another card using Spellbinders Susan's Garden new release "Through the Arbor".   I have used the S5-615 Wash Bucket again and did it in copper and filled it with the  Mock Orange S3-496  from new release.  It is another 6" square tent fold card. Card base was made from 100# white cardstock.  The 1st mat was cut 5-3/4" square attached to card base using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .   Second mat is black cardstock embossed using Bamboo 3D Embossing Folder from Painter's Garden Collection and it was attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper to cut 14 - 15 Mock Orange flowers and leaves were cut from watercolor paper.  All were colored with alcohol markers.  Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit was used to shape everything.  Susan's YouTube video for creating the Mock Orange can be found here.     For the Wash Bucket I cut 1 from

Hello my crafty friends! Finally I am back creating cards.  I have missed it but it gets kind of crazy November, December and January.
