Wash Bucket of Nasturtiums & Flowering Kale
Hello my crafty friends!
Today I am posting my card using some of Spellbinders Susan's Garden brand new release "Through the Arbor" out now in your retail stores in USA. I have used the Wash Bucket & Nasturtium set S5-615 (anyone that knows me knows I LOVE my galvanized buckets and watering cans for paper gardening as well as outdoor gardening). I also used the Flowering Kale/Cabbage SDS-187 from Snow Garden Collection.
My card is a 6" X 6" tent fold card and I used 100# white cardstock for card base and the 1st mat is heavy weight black cardstock cut 5-3/4" square.
2nd Mat layer was cut from white cardstock 5-1/2" square lightly spritzed back of cardstock and embossed using E3D-078 Bee-Cause Embossing Folder from the new release as well. I used alcohol markers to color some of the bees I thought would be showing on finished card. I adhered this to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
The Wash Bucket was cut from watercolor paper and colored with alcohol markers combining different ones until I was happy with color. I added a little brown in areas and also some white. I just kept playing until I had the look I wanted. I used some dimensional dots in lower center back and Bearly Art Glue along the edges leaving the bucket opening free of glue attach to card front close to bottom of card front.. Susan's YouTube video for creating the bucket can be found here.
Using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 10 Nasturtiums and 1 Flowering Kale. They were colored with alcohol markers. The leaves of the Nasturtiums were cut from watercolor paper. Spellbinders Susan's Garden Ultimate Tool Kit, Molding Mat and Flower Mold Block were used to shape. I can link the YouTube video for the Flowering Kale the Nasturtium
Thanks for stopping by today I sure hope that I have inspired you to create your own bouquet of Susan's flowers in this wonderful Wash Bucket.
Keep your eyes open for Spellbinders Susan's Garden new release Through the Arbor!
Until next time - Happy Creating!
