Hello My Crafty Friends! Today I have a card I created using the Pansy from Spellbinders / Susan's Garden new collection called Painter's Garden .  The Pansy is such a sweet delicate flower and comes in many lovely colors. My card is a 5" X 7" card base from 110# cardstock with a couple of mats.  The pink mat is 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" with a heart cut in center.  I used 2 heart dies using the smaller of the 2 on the pink mat.  The top white mat is 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" with larger heart cut out.   I actually cut the heart into white mat first so I could line up the hearts.  I laid the white mat with heart cutout over the pink mat then centered my smaller heart die in heart cutout of the white mat and taped it in position.  After removing white mat I run the pink mat with die through cutting machine.  The white mat was then embossed.  Pink mat was adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Next the white mat was adhered to pin...

Welcome My Fellow Paper Gardeners, Today I have created a slimline card using Susan's Garden Club / Spellbinders new Spring Flora release Kerria Japonica, Ferns & Ivy as well as the Fall release Foliage & ladybug . Card base is 4-1/4" X 9-1/4" patterned paper cut 4" X 9" adhered to card front using clear double sided adhesive.  Frames were created by using different size slim rectangle dies together to cut card stock.  Frames adhered to card front us Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue . Several Kerria Japonica were cut from Susan's Garden Club Specialty Cardstock then colored with Copic Markers.  Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit was used to shape flowers and leaves.  For creating these sweet happy flowers you can watch Susan's YouTube found here .  Hello my fellow paper gardeners, Today it is my turn again to post a card today for Susan's Garden Club Spellbinders Design Team.   I decided I better do something other than the sweet little Lily of the Valley so I  have chosen to do a card with Sweet Peas ivy and fern from Susan's new Spring Flora Release.   My card today is a diamond easel card which Susan did on her Facebook Live - Susan's Garden Club which you can find here .  This card is a fun and easy card to create. Create card base and add printed cardstock. Mason jar was created using shrink film.  Cricut was used to cut a mason jar pattern from cardstock then traced onto shrink film and then fussy cut by hand.  blue Copics marker was used to color back side of jar then using instructions on the shrink film packaging shrink.  Small jute twin was wrapped around top of jar and a little Bearly Art Precision Glue added to end to hold.  Create a bow from same jute and adhere t...

Hello My Crafty Friends, My card today was inspired by a picture that I had seen on Facebook.  This is my version using many of Susan's Garden Notes dies - Forsythia, Cherry Blossom, Lavender, Ivy Vine, Hosta Leaves etc. Card is 6" X 6" with 5-3/4" square patterned paper adhered to front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Bottles were first cut on the Cricut.  I couldn't get it to cut the sticker paperas I so I had to cut them from cardstock then trace onto clear sticker paper and hand cut.  Several different size bottles  were cut cutting several of each size.  A green alcohol marker was used to color one bottle then second bottle was adhered over top of colored one.  Used black alcohol marker to edge each bottle. Created Forsythia in white and yellow, Lavender, Cherry Blossoms, Brunnera, Hosta Leaves and Ivy Vine which was added to back of various bottles. Adhered bottles to card front adding Kids Choice Glue to adhere to flower branches and  leaves....

Welcome my crafty friends, Today I have created another card using Susan's new Garden Notes Watering Can and Garden Notes Calendula .  If you couldn't tell I love watering cans the picture in circle is actually part of my collection that I have. Here is how card was created. Step 1   Form 6" X 6" card base using white 110# Soft Finish Cardstock . Step 2  Cut white 90# Soft Finish Cardstock 5-3/4" square.  Using 6th largest die from Garden Notes Frame It - Stitched Circles cut circle in cardstock approximately 1/4" in from left side and 1/4" down from top. Step 3   Choose patterned paper, picture or use inks to make a back ground then cut using 7th largest circle die.  Using Clear Double Sided Adhesive adhere behind opening then adhere to card front. Step 4   Using black ink stamp sentiment to lower left corner of card. Step 5   Cut 2 Garden Notes Watering Can from cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back - 1 gray 1 white.  ...

[gallery ids="5445,5444,5446" type="rectangular"] Although I have not done a tutorial for this card I wanted to include pictures of how I used the large heart from Becky's Heartfelt Love die set to make my heart card.  The first photo look closely at top of paper it shows how you place die just slightly above card fold so that it doesn't completely cut off fold giving you a hinge.
