Framed Bee Blossom & Oriental Lilies

 Hello my crafty friends,

My card today is a framed card with Bee Blossom (Gaura) and Oriental Lilies.  The Bee Blossom is from Susan's Garden new release Through the Garden Gate from Spellbinders which is another great release.

Card is a 6" X 6" frame on a 6" X 6" tent fold card.  Susan has a video for creating the frame which you can find here.  https://www.facebook.com/SusansGardenClub/videos/433190574264552  Design paper (Forever & Always by P13 was used here) is approximately 4" square which was attached to inside of frame using clear double sided adhesive.  1/8" strips were cut from black cardstock and adhered with Bearly Art Glue around inner edge of frame (this idea came from my dear friend Selma when I couldn't figure out why I didn't like my card).  Decorative corners were cut from same cardstock that frame was cut from they were then run through my little Xyron sticker maker and adhered to corners.  Black adhesive backed gems were added to corners.

Using Bee Blossom die set from Susan's new release Through the Garden Gate was cut 8 times from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper, colored using Copic Markers then shaped using Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit.  Susan will have a YouTube video  soon on creating them.  Stems and leaves were cut from green cardstock and shaped using Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit.

From Susan's Garden Autumn Flora Collection the Oriental Poppy Die Set was used to create 2 poppies and 1 bud using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper colored using Copic Markers and Shaped using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.  Susan has a YouTube video on creating these and it can be found here https://www.facebook.com/SusansGardenClub/videos/433190574264552

Kids Choice Glue was used to build bouquet inside frame.

Sentiment was from the new release Through the Garden Gate stamped in black on white cardstock then matted with black cardstock then adhered with dimensional tape.

Well I do hope that this has given you inspiration to go create a card.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time - Happy crafting!

Christine
