Oh Happy Daisy

Hello My Crafty Friends,

Hope you all had a great Mother's Day at least the best you could under the circumstances.  I am sure it was much different than any other you have celebrated.  Our lives are turned upside down right now I do hope that creating beautiful things has gotten you through so far.

Early fall we will have a brand new release of Susan's wonderful dies with Spellbinders I can't wait but until then we are using her old releases which I know are hard to find but there are some out there.

Here is a card I created for you using Susan's Garden Notes Shasta Daisy and Jasmine along with Suzanne Cannon - A Way With Words - Happy Birthday Small.  The embossing folder is one that came in a magazine several years ago but not sure and there is no brand name on it.

Created a 6" X 6" card base from white Soft Finish Cardstock.  Cut green cardstock 5-3/4" square adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  White Soft Finish Cardstock was cut 5-1/2" square then embossed and adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Used Susan's Garden Notes Shasta Daisy to cut 3 daisies from white Soft Finish Cardstock.  Alcohol markers were used to shade center and her tool kit used to shape.  The tiny florets in center were cut from yellow cardstock and shaped.  Kids Choice Glue was used to build flowers and to add pollen to center of daisy when complete.  Leaves were cut from green cardstock then shaded and shaped.

Susan's Garden Notes Jasmine die set was used to created the purple flowers cutting from white Soft Finish Cardstock the leaves from green and stamens from yellow.  Used purple alcohol marker to color the flowers.  Shape all with Susan's tool kit and shade & shape leaves.

Berry branches were cut using Susan's Garden Notes Berry Branch die set cutting from brown cardstock berries added using Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Flowers were adhered to card front using Kids Choice Glue starting with Jasmine leaves going down first.

Suzanne Cannon's Happy Birthday was cut twice from cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back - one from white one from black.  White Happy Birthday was adhered to card front first then black Happy Birthday was offset just a little to give it shadow.

Hope that this has gotten your creative juices flowing and you get creating!

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
