Primrose Delight





Hello my crafty friends!

Today I have another birthday card using Karen Burniston's Lorna Label Pop Up #1266 and  Happy Birthday Lorna Add-ons #1276 and adorned it with Spellbinders Susan's Garden Primrose S2-447.

Card base is 5" X 5"  cut yellow cardstock 5" X 10" score at 5" fold on score line.  3 pc of pattern paper ( I used Ella & Viv Love Grows Here Field of Flowers) cut 4-3/4" square adhered to front, back and bottom inside and 1pc 4-3/4"  X 2" for top inside.

For the front of card I created 9 Primrose Flowers and a bunch of leaves colored to match paper.  They were cut from Susan's Specialty Paper colored with Olo Markers and shaped using Susan's Deluxe Tool Kit.  The Primrose were arranged and attached with Kids Choice Glue to front of card.  Susan's YouTube for creating Primrose can be found here

Birthday Bouquet

Hello Everyone it is hard to believe how fast the month of May is flying by.  Why is it the warmer months always go by much faster than those cold months. Today my post is another Sunflower card I made for a co-worker.  I used Susan's Garden Notes Sunflower die (one of my many favorites of Susan's ) along with some Shimmer Sheetz and the Asian Vase die. Here is how this card was made:  Using 3 different shades of cardstock (yellows, oranges and reds ) cut 3 sunflowers.  Cut green leaves and for the seeds in the center of sunflower use 2 shades of brown cardstock (hard to see in picture but it does add some shading).  Shape everything using Susan's Sunflower video as your guide.  Video found here Using 100# white Soft Finish Cardstock make your card base which is 5-1/4" X 5-1/2".  Cut cardstock 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" and score at 4-1/4". Triple Diamond Point with Lavender Mountain Daisy

Hello my crafty friends! My card today is call a Triple Diamond Point which I found on Sam Calcutt YouTube channel.  I have created the card pretty much as Sam did but I used flowers from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Through the Meadow Collection .  I used S2-414 Lavender Mountain Daisy , an older Berry Branch and some Grape Hyacinth I created myself.  Also from Spellbinders I used E3D-033 Beveled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and Spellbinders Better Press BP-025 Always & Forever Sentiment Strips.   The card is a 6" X 6" here is Sam's video for creating this card.  Triple Diamond Point Using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 3 of the Lavender Mountain Daisies and colored with Olo Alcohol Markers V2.3 and 2.4.   I used watercolor paper for the foliage colored them with  YG-8.5 & 8.7 I then shaped them using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit .  Susan's video for creating these flowers can be found here .
