Mini Slimline Hexagon Card w/ Daisy



Hello My Crafty Friends!
 
My card today was a birthday card for my best friend of over 60 years daisies are one of her favorite flowers.  I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Gerber Daisy S5-531 from The Painters Garden Collection.  The flower represents the Blue Disc African Daisy.  Susan's YouTube video for creating the Gerber Daisy can be found here   I used Olo Alcohol Markers B0.6 and B0.7 to color the tiny center florets and a tiny bit of orange pollen on the outer edge of center flowers.  

For the center of the front of card I used Spellbinders S5-204 Lace Hearts.  added a few berries.

The embossing folder is a Lisa Horton 3D Lily of the Valley Blooms LHCEF 190.

I recently had seen this card on Facebook that intriqued me it was by Avee Renee.  The card is called Mini Slimline Hexagon Card.  The tutorial can be found here  The card is an easy card to create.

Hello my crafty friends! My card today is call a Triple Diamond Point which I found on Sam Calcutt YouTube channel.  I have created the card pretty much as Sam did but I used flowers from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Through the Meadow Collection .  I used S2-414 Lavender Mountain Daisy , an older Berry Branch and some Grape Hyacinth I created myself.  Also from Spellbinders I used E3D-033 Beveled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and Spellbinders Better Press BP-025 Always & Forever Sentiment Strips.   The card is a 6" X 6" here is Sam's video for creating this card.  Triple Diamond Point Using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 3 of the Lavender Mountain Daisies and colored with Olo Alcohol Markers V2.3 and 2.4.   I used watercolor paper for the foliage colored them with  YG-8.5 & 8.7 I then shaped them using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit .  Susan's video for creating these flowers can be found here . Basket of Paperwhites

  Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a slimline card for you and will say right up front I wish I had put basket at the bottom of the card as I normally would but was trying to mix things up a bit.   I created  card using Spellbinders Susan's Garden  S4-1364 Paperwhites from Winters Grace Collection along with S4-1115 Gathering Basket from Holiday Collection.     Spellbinders S6-186 Fluted Classic Slimline dies were used to cut frame.  Spellbinders / Simon Hurley E3D-080 Woven 3D Embossing Folder was used on the basket to emphasize the basket weave.  Spellbinders S4-201 (small) and S4-202 (large) Deckled Rectangle dies were used for sentiment. Card base is 4" X 9" and designer paper was cut 3-1/4" X 7-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Using the 3 largest dies from the  Fluted Classic Slimline Die Set a frame was cut from green cardstock.  Bearly Art Glue was used to adhere the frame over t...
