Wild Violets & Lily of the Valley on Arrow Fold Card

Now that the holidays are over I sure hope I can get back to doing what I love paper gardening on my cards.  2025 was a crazy year with moving after 56 years in same place and getting settled in a new community then the holidays.

Today I have used Spellbinders Susan's Garden new die Wild Violet S3-569 from new release Poet's Garden along with the Lily of the Valley S4-1086 from Spring Flora (not sure this is still available ).

I created an Arrow Fold Card to display my little bouquet.  I found this card on Lisa Curcio Stamp Studio YouTube page which can be found here

The paper was an old CTMH paper that I used (after moving I have decided I really need to use up some of my paper stash - I have so much paper).  I used 110# black cardstock for the base.

The Wild Violet was cut from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Specialty Paper, colored with Olo Markers V2.7 and V2.6 the stem and leaves YG8.5 and YG 2.5 and then shaped with Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.  Susan's YouTube video can be found here

This card was fun to create and quite easy Lisa does very good videos.  I actually made 2 of these using same paper but reversing it.

I do hope you will give this card a try. I absolutely love Susan's new Wild Violet it is so dainty.

Hello my crafty friends! My card today is call a Triple Diamond Point which I found on Sam Calcutt YouTube channel.  I have created the card pretty much as Sam did but I used flowers from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Through the Meadow Collection .  I used S2-414 Lavender Mountain Daisy , an older Berry Branch and some Grape Hyacinth I created myself.  Also from Spellbinders I used E3D-033 Beveled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and Spellbinders Better Press BP-025 Always & Forever Sentiment Strips.   The card is a 6" X 6" here is Sam's video for creating this card.  Triple Diamond Point Using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 3 of the Lavender Mountain Daisies and colored with Olo Alcohol Markers V2.3 and 2.4.   I used watercolor paper for the foliage colored them with  YG-8.5 & 8.7 I then shaped them using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit .  Susan's video for creating these flowers can be found here . Basket of Paperwhites

  Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a slimline card for you and will say right up front I wish I had put basket at the bottom of the card as I normally would but was trying to mix things up a bit.   I created  card using Spellbinders Susan's Garden  S4-1364 Paperwhites from Winters Grace Collection along with S4-1115 Gathering Basket from Holiday Collection.     Spellbinders S6-186 Fluted Classic Slimline dies were used to cut frame.  Spellbinders / Simon Hurley E3D-080 Woven 3D Embossing Folder was used on the basket to emphasize the basket weave.  Spellbinders S4-201 (small) and S4-202 (large) Deckled Rectangle dies were used for sentiment. Card base is 4" X 9" and designer paper was cut 3-1/4" X 7-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Using the 3 largest dies from the  Fluted Classic Slimline Die Set a frame was cut from green cardstock.  Bearly Art Glue was used to adhere the frame over t...

Heart of Lilies & Berries

Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a card I created for a dear friend's birthday using a piece from my stash.  Not sure what I had made it for but decided that it would make a great mat for this card.  I have used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Oriental Lilies from the Wellies & Oriental Lily Die Set S5-478 Summer Flora Collection , Ladder Fern from Ferns & Ivy Die Set S4-1086 also from Spring Flora Collection and Arrowood Viburnum S3-516 from Winter's Grace Collection .  The patterned paper in heart is actually from a picture of old wallpaper I took at the Olson House where Andrew Wyeth painted the famous painting "Christina's World" .  I have used this on several occasions printing onto cardstock. My card base is 5-1/2" X 7" from 110# cardstock.  Pattern paper was cut a little larger than the heart opening then attached to back side using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  The mat was then attached to card front using dimensional tape...
