Summer Hydrangea

Wow it has been almost 7 months since I posted any cards as I have been very busy in my yard and also got a new puppy.  I will try to post some pictures of what I have been doing.

Today I have a card for you that I created which was requested by a friend. I used  Spellbinders Susan's Garden Hydrangea S4-1347 from the Botanical Garden release.  

My card is a 6 X 6 tent fold card.  The first mat is navy blue cardstock cut 5-3/4" X 5-3/4" and adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  The next mat was cut from white card stock 5-1/4 X 5-1/4 then embossed using Altnew Angled Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

The bowl I created for my Hydrangeas  was cut from silver mirror card (it is very hard to photograph so looks more like holographic) I cut a 4" circle then cut in half the base of bowl was a small diamond cut in half they were adhered to the card front.

3 Hydrangeas were created using Susan's instructions on YouTube which can be found here.  Kids Choice Glue was used to build my flowers in the bowl.  Ladybug was added.

Good Morning Everyone!  Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but I have been busy getting ready to go to Creative Keepsake Convention and then going to convention. I had a great time taking classes, shopping, eating and enjoying great friends. My post today is using one of Susan's Garden new dies and one of Karen Burniston's pop up dies.  It was hard to get a good clear picture because of the shine from the glitter. Card base is an A2 size card (4-1/4 X 5-1/2) 1.  Panel is made by using Karen Burniston's accordion rectangle die.  Attach a piece of sticker paper  4-1/2 X 5-3/4 to a pc of white cardstock the same size using clear double sided adhesive. Cut 1 frame from this.  Cut the rectangle and tabs from center of frame and the long tab on the left edge of the frame. Triple Diamond Point with Lavender Mountain Daisy

Hello my crafty friends! My card today is call a Triple Diamond Point which I found on Sam Calcutt YouTube channel.  I have created the card pretty much as Sam did but I used flowers from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Through the Meadow Collection .  I used S2-414 Lavender Mountain Daisy , an older Berry Branch and some Grape Hyacinth I created myself.  Also from Spellbinders I used E3D-033 Beveled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and Spellbinders Better Press BP-025 Always & Forever Sentiment Strips.   The card is a 6" X 6" here is Sam's video for creating this card.  Triple Diamond Point Using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 3 of the Lavender Mountain Daisies and colored with Olo Alcohol Markers V2.3 and 2.4.   I used watercolor paper for the foliage colored them with  YG-8.5 & 8.7 I then shaped them using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit .  Susan's video for creating these flowers can be found here . A Breath of Spring

Hello My Crafty Friends! Finally the daffodils are blooming and tulips are starting to put on buds - Spring has finally arrived here in Maine. Today my card is one that a friend has requested for her mother.  I have chosen several spring flowers from several Spellbinders Susan's Garden releases to create my card.  For my card I have used S4-1085 Lily of the Valley from Spring flora, S4-1175 Lilac from Garden Favorites, S2-340 Forget Me Not from Garden Gate and S5-470 Vase, Daffodil & Narcissus from Summer Flora.   The card base is one I have done before using other shapes for window Sam Calcott has a YouTube video for it (Acetate Hexagon Card) you can find it here .  I chose to do circle instead of hexagon and cut my cardstock 7" square and circles were 4-3/4" and 3-3/4".  I created a box for the card using  Donna Griffith's How to make your own custom sized boxes YouTube video found here  it is a great video.  I chose to add a framed win...
