Bowl of Carnations

Hello My Crafty Friends,

Today I have a card I have created for you using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Carnation S4-1325 from the Through the Arbor release and arranged them in a bowl I created using Spellbinders Essential Stylish Ovals S5-562 die set ( Susan Tierney-Cockburn did her Facebook Live April 3rd on creating vessels from different die shapes).  Susan's video can be found here

My card is  5" X 7" created from 100# white cardstock.  The first mat is 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" hot pink glitter cardstock adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.  The next mat is black cardstock cut 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" then embossed using Lisa Horton 3D Embossing Folder LHCEF132 Sandstone Wall.  Once embossed I used a white (stamp pad was quite dried up) stamp pad rubbed it over entire surface then adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.

The bowl was cut from watercolor paper using Spellbinders Essential Stylish Ovals S5-562.  I embossed the bowl part using Lisa Horton's 3D Embossing Folder LHCEF185 Mottled Leaves.  I attached smaller piece to bottom of bowl using Bearly Art Glue.  I used Distress Ink Old Paper to lightly rub over surface then I covered the entire front with Versamark then added Ultra Thick Embossing Powder over front then heat embossed.  Dimensional Dots were adhered to the center back and Kids Choice Glue was used sides and bottom leaving top open then adhere to lower card front.

Using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 3 Spellbinders Susan's Garden Carnation S4-1325 and colored with alcohol markers.  They were shaped using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.  Susan has a YouTube video on how to create the Carnations which can be found hereDesign Team Member Dorothy Mutafopulos also did an updated video  which can be found here.

I created 3 stems of Eucalyptus using Spellbinders Susan's Garden S4-1278 from the Victorian Garden Foliage set Susan's video for creating this can be found here

Berry Branches were created using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Autumn Foliage S4-1320 from the Birds & Bees Collection.

Kids Choice Glue was used to build bouquet in the bowl.

This Card could be used for many different occasions.

Thank you for stopping by I do hope I have inspired you to create your own card.

Until next time - Happy Creating!

Christine
