Pink Sunflower Survivor Slimline

Hello my crafty friends!

Today I am posting another of my survivor cards that I created in month of October for Breast Cancer Survivors. This is something I like to do each October.  I love to surprise these survivors and let them know they are not forgotten and acknowledge their fight.  Some of these ladies I have never met.

My card is a slimline card 8" X 4".  The overlay was cut from pink cardstock using the 2 largest dies of the  Spellbinders Becca Feeken Flourished Sonata die set S6-185.  I used Bearly Art Glue to attach to card front.

Sentiment was printed onto white cardstock  (I couldn't find my stamp set) then used 3rd largest die from Flourished Sonata to cut it out then adhered to card front using dimensional tape.

Pink ribbon was cut on my Cricut a couple times then adhered together to give dimension.  Added ribbon to right side of card using Bearly Art Glue.

From Spellbinders Susan's Garden latest release Birds & Bees I used Acacia from the Autumn Foliage set S4-1320.  I cut 3 sprigs from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper SCS 122, colored with alcohol markers and Shaped with Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit T-021.  Susan' has a YouTube video for this which can be found here at about 12:19.

A couple of berry branches were created using the little styrofoam balls colored with alcohol ink glued to colored berry branch using Kids Choice Glue and black dots added to berries using a very fine point pen.

My flower was also cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper SCS 122 using the die set Sunflower S4-1177 from the Garden Favorites release.  Flower was colored using alcohol inks and shaped using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit T 021.  Susan's YouTube for creating the Sunflower can be found here
Acicia, Berry Branches and Sunflower  were attached to card front using Kids Choice Glue.

I so hope that I have inspired you to create your own version of the card even if it isn't a card for breast cancer survivor this card can be used for any occasion.

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time - Happy creating!
