Crocus in a Tea Cup

Hi my crafty friends!

Today's card I have created is a simple 6" X 6" tent fold card and I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Crocus from the new release Snow Garden.  The Crocus are in the Tea Cup from the Victorian Garden Collection.

Card base is 6" square with black mat cut at 5-3/4' x 5-3/4" attached to card front using clear double sided adhesive.  Second mat is white cardstock cut 5-1/2" X 5-1/2" then embossed with swiss dot embossing folder and attached using clear double sided adhesive.  Large circle was cut from black cardstock using Spellbinders Circle Die set then embossed using Lisa Horton 3D Embossing Folder Padded Quilt LHCEF003 then added to card front using dimensional tape.

Tea Cup was cut from 100# black cardstock using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Victorian Tea Cup S4-1277 from the Victorian Garden .  I painted it with Tim Holtz White Crackle Paint then clear embossed once paint was dry.  Saucer and Tea Cup were attached using Kids Choice Glue leaving top of Tea Cup open. Susan has a YouTube video for creating the Tea Cup which can be found here I also put a piece of dimensional tape in center back of Tea Cup.

Spellbinders Susan's Garden Crocus S2-375 was cut 9 times from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper and cut a bunch of leaves from watercolor paper.  I used a combo of Olo Markers and Copic Markers to color everything and shaped everything using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit.  Susan has YouTube video for creating the Crocus which can be found here  Crocus were added to Tea Cup using Kids Choice Glue.

I hope that this has been inspirational and you will make your own card!

Thank you for stopping by and until next time - Happy Creating!
