Mothers Day 3D Envelope Easel Card

Hello my crafty friends!

Wow Spring has finally come to Central Maine so I have been very busy with outside work like splitting hostas then planting them, mulching, getting out planters & my 50+ galvanized watering cans etc.  Hope your Spring is going well!

Today I have done some paper gardening I have done another 3D Envelope Easel Card as a friend requested I make one to give to her Mother-In-Law.  For this card I have used Spellbinders / Susan's Garden Camilla S4-1233 and Lemon Verbena S4-1278 Victorian Foliage from the Victorian Garden Collection, Forget Me Not S2-340 and Bee Blossom S3-445 from Garden Gate Collection, Berry Branch from S4-1079 Foliage & Ladybug Autumn Flora Collection, Winter Bough from S4-1114 Winter Bough & Evergreen Shrubs Holiday Collection anf Ladder Fern from Ferns & Ivy Spring flora Collection.  Paper is Carta Bella Gather at Home and the stamp set is CTMH C1605 Happy to be Friends.

The envelope card base was one Susan Tierney-Cockburn did on her Facebook Live Susan's Garden Club the link to that is here  On the back of the easel I had cut 1 Spellbinders S4-137 Classic Scallop Heart from yellow cardstock and then 1  S4-136 Classic Heart 1 size smaller then stamped with sentiment before attaching with Clear Double Sided Tape.

Once card base was completed I added my foliage and flowers.  I first add a strip of dimensional tape just below what would be the top flap I added my Lemon Verbena (3) next I added another strip of dimensional tape on top of the first piece added Ladder Fern (3), Winter Bough (2) and Forget Me Nots (2) then added third strip of dimensional tape and 3 more Forget Me Not Stems.  3 Berry Branches were prepared (I used the Styrofoam balls for berries) 2 full ones added then third one was cut apart and added in.  Bee Blossom (1 stem) add and then the Camilla with 2 buds added.  Lastly the various leaves were added.

Below you will find links to how to videos for all flowers and foliage

Berry Branch - sorry couldn't find video but I just cut branches from green cardstock shaded with green ink.  I lay on molding mat and using med ball stylus I made small indent wherever I was going to put berries.  I then added my white Styrofoam balls for berries and used a very fine black ink pen to add black dot to each berry.

Thank you for stopping by today I sure hope that I have inspired you today to make your own 3d envelope easel card they are quite easy and fun to do.

Until next time - Happy Paper Gardening!

Christine
