Pretty Red Clematis

Hello my crafty friends!
Today I have a slimline card for you that I created using The wonderful new Clematis die set from the brand new release Garden Favorites by Susan Tierney-Cockburn through Spellbinders.  I have given 2 different photos of  card to show that you can use in different directions.

Finished card size is 4 X 8-1/2  - 100# paper was cut 8 X 8-1/2 scored at 4"

Mat layer cut from Kraft cardstock cut 3-3/4 X 8-1/4 adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Wood patterned paper was cut 3-1/2 X 8 then embossed with woodgrain embossing folder.  Adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

3 Clematis  and 6 centers (3 of the centers will be fused as seed heads) were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper. Flowers were colored using Copic Markers R46 & R27 and Y11 was used on centers.  Shaping was done using Susan's Garden Deluxe Tool Kit and assembled using Kids Choice Glue.  Susan has a YouTube on creating this flower which can be found here.

6 Winter Boughs were cut from brown Craft Cardstock and shaded with brown ink.  (Selma Stevenson gave me idea of using Winter Bough for vine)  they were laid out across card attaching using Kids Choice Glue.

From Green cardstock leaves were cut then they were shaded and shaped.  Also from green cardstock cut thin strips and wrapped around small brush handles to create tendrils.

Using Kids Choice Glue arrange flowers across card and adhere. Adhere tendrils, seed heads (the extra centers that were made) and leaves.  Lastly add Ladybug.

I have linked products used below.

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
