Bearded Iris & Trillium

 



Hello my crafty friends!  Today I have Birthday card that I have created using 2 dies from Spellbinders Susan's Garden new release - Garden Favorites.  For my card today I have used the Bearded Iris and the Trillium both are really fun to create.  Also used on this card is Spellbinders Fluted Squares.

My card is a 5" X 5" created from white 100# cardstock.
 
Pink cardstock was cut 4-3/8" square, embossed and attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  Frame was cut same size using Spellbinders Fluted Squares from white cardstock and adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Flowers were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty Paper colored, shaped and assembled.  Susan has YouTube videos on these -  Bearded Iris can be found here.  Trillium can be found here.  From Susan's Holiday Collection I used the Winter Bough and Evergreen Shrubs die set.

Flowers were arranged starting with the Winter Bough and Evergreen Shrubs attaching using Kids Choice Glue.  

From Garden Favorite Sentiments Stamp Set I used the Happy Birthday stamped with black ink onto white cardstock then die cut using a rectangle die.  I used pop dots to attach o card front.

Good Morning Everyone!  Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but I have been busy getting ready to go to Creative Keepsake Convention and then going to convention. I had a great time taking classes, shopping, eating and enjoying great friends. My post today is using one of Susan's Garden new dies and one of Karen Burniston's pop up dies.  It was hard to get a good clear picture because of the shine from the glitter. Card base is an A2 size card (4-1/4 X 5-1/2) 1.  Panel is made by using Karen Burniston's accordion rectangle die.  Attach a piece of sticker paper  4-1/2 X 5-3/4 to a pc of white cardstock the same size using clear double sided adhesive. Cut 1 frame from this.  Cut the rectangle and tabs from center of frame and the long tab on the left edge of the frame. Run this frame through Sizzix machine using Hearts Entwined embossing folder (or other embossing folder of your choice)  Peel the paper from the front of the frame ( protective paper covering adhesive

Family Birthday Cards

Welcome my crafty friends! Today I have a couple birthday cards I did for our grandson and my hubby.  Our grandson and hubby share their birthday - grandson was best birthday gift ever. Our grandson turned 18 and he loves to fish he has a boat and fishes when he is not working.  Hubby turned 79 and loves his John Deere tractor.   Cards are both 6" X 6" and I used a combination of dies and Cricut to make my cards. The pop up mechanism was same for both it was an old die set of Karen Burniston when she was with Elizabeth Craft Designs - Bathtub Pop Up.  Another time I would reshape the bathtub into a boat but I had already hand cut the boat then went looking for a die set that had a pop up mechanism to use kind of like putting the cart before the horse. Survivor Pink Sunflower and Berries

  Hello my crafty friends! Another Breast Cancer Survivor card that I created in October.  Once again I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Sunflower, Acacia and Berry Branch and for this card Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame die set. My card base is 5" X 7" made from 100# white cardstock.  Embossed layer is 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" white cardstock.  I used a swiss dot embossing folder (it is an old 8-1/2" X 11" embossing folder - I have used it so much it is taped together now).  This piece was attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Using the Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame 2  largest dies I cut 1 from pink cardstock adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.   I printed sentiment on white cardstock then die cut using the next 2 dies from Lisette die set then attached to card front using dimensional tape.
