Oriental Poppy & Berries Slimline

Welcome my crafty friends,

Today I have a slimline card I created featuring the Oriental Poppy from Susan's Garden Club Fall Flora release.

The following picture was found on Facebook and was my inspiration for my card.

Card Base

Cut black cardstock 8" X 9" score at 4" fold on score line.  Karen Burniston's Long Rectangle Cross Hatch dies were used to cut white frame.  Pattern paper was cut to fit behind white frame adhering the frame onto pattern paper using Bearly Art GlueClear Double Sided Adhesive was used to adhere white panel to card front.  The narrow red frame was cut using Picket Fence Slimline Die Cutting System then adhered using Bearly Art Glue.  The narrow black frame was cut using Karen Burniston's Long Rectangle Cross Hatch dies adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.

Berry Branch, Poppies and Eucalyptus

Susan has YouTube Videos for creating Berry Branch (Nuvo Crystal Drops - Berry Red was used for berries) and Eucalyptus can be found here.  On Berry Branch I only added berries where they would show so adhering the vase and Berry Branch together it would lay flat on back.  If you want Berry Branch could be added to vase before adding berries and set aside to dry.

YouTube Video for Oriental Poppy (Copic V09 was used to color poppies) can be found here.

Susan's Garden Specialty Paper is fantastic for creating all the wonderful flowers that she has designed.

Vase

Vase was cut on Cricut from heavy cardstock and colored with Copic 100 Black marker highlighted with white PanPastel.  Susan Large Ball tool from her Deluxe Tool Kit was used to give vase some shape.  Once Berry Branch is dry cut and adhere to vase.  Add dimensional dots to center back of vase and Kids Choice Glue around just edges of vase - leaving top opening free of glue adhere to card front

Kids Choice Glue was used to add arrangement to card.

Thank you for stopping by I do hope it has been inspirational to you.
