Lily of the Valley Card & Box

Well I know it has been a while since I have posted but I have been busy.  I changed my blog from WordPress to Blogger got everything copied over but unfortunately my followers did not transfer.  If you had been a follower you will have to start following me again on my new blog.  If you weren't a follower before please start following me and you will be notified of any new posts.

Today I am excited to be posting a card using a die set from Susan's Garden new Spring Flora Collection from Spellbinders.  I am excited to be using the Lily of the Valley such a sweet flower in smell and looks.  I have made a slim line card with a matching box.

My paper is something I printed off.  I bought the download from Etsy and I think it is just perfect for my card today.

Card base is 9-1/2 by 4

Cut cardstock 9-1/2 by 10-1/2 score at 2-1/2 and 6-1/2.  Fold and burnish on score lines mountain fold then valley fold.

Cut  3 pieces pattern paper 9-1/4 X 3-3/4 and 1 piece 2-1/2 X 9-1/4.  Adhere to card base using clear double sided adhesive.

Cut shape for card front for your arrangement ( tag dies used here) adhere to card front.  Create bouquet add to your shape on front of card.  Deckled Edge dies used for inside sentiment is stamp from the new spring flora release.

Box base 11-3/4 X 6-1/4 cut 1/16 off 1 side and 1 end this makes cover fit better.  Score at 1" on all sides fold on score lines and burnish.  To make tabs on each end cut on score line to score line use adhesive on tabs to form box.  Lid is made same way card stock is 5-1/4 X 10-3/4 scored at 1/2" on all sides fold on score line fold and burnish cut tabs same as for box before adhering tabs add patterned paper to top.

Susan will have YouTube videos for creating all the flowers in her collections.  For the card and box you can find dimensions on her blog https://stierneyc.wordpress.com/ she also covers in her live videos on her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SusansGardenClub

Susan's new collection will be available soon and I will be linking them here.

Thanks for stopping by today I hope you enjoyed my card.

Until next time - Happy Crafting!

Christine
