So Sorry Bouquet






Hello My Crafty Friends,

Sadly this week Corona 19 Virus took the life of a family member of one of our members of our online  paper garden club so members are making sympathy cards and posting them in our group - this is mine.

For my card I have used Susan's Garden Notes Watering Can, Tulips, Forget Me Notes and Daffodil / Narcissus die sets as well as Frame It - Circles.

Card base is 6" X 6" created from green cardstock.  White cardstock was cut 5-3/4" square then circle was cut in upper left corner.  Piece was then embossed.  Background piece was attached behind circle opening then piece was attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Watering Can was cut twice once from black cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back and once from decorative paper also with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back then adhered together.  Dimensional dots added to back in center then add to card front.

Flowers were all cut from White Soft Finish Cardstock 90# they were colored with Copic Alcohol Markers leaves cut from green cardstock.  flowers shaded and shaped then put together using Kids Choice Glue.  Arranged in opening of watering can when happy with arrangement adhered with Kids Choice Glue.

Stamped sentiment then matted with black cardstock added to card front using dimensional tape.

Good Morning Everyone!  Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but I have been busy getting ready to go to Creative Keepsake Convention and then going to convention. I had a great time taking classes, shopping, eating and enjoying great friends. My post today is using one of Susan's Garden new dies and one of Karen Burniston's pop up dies.  It was hard to get a good clear picture because of the shine from the glitter. Card base is an A2 size card (4-1/4 X 5-1/2) 1.  Panel is made by using Karen Burniston's accordion rectangle die.  Attach a piece of sticker paper  4-1/2 X 5-3/4 to a pc of white cardstock the same size using clear double sided adhesive. Cut 1 frame from this.  Cut the rectangle and tabs from center of frame and the long tab on the left edge of the frame. Run this frame through Sizzix machine using Hearts Entwined embossing folder (or other embossing folder of your choice)  Peel the paper from the front of the frame ( protective paper covering adhesive

Family Birthday Cards

Welcome my crafty friends! Today I have a couple birthday cards I did for our grandson and my hubby.  Our grandson and hubby share their birthday - grandson was best birthday gift ever. Our grandson turned 18 and he loves to fish he has a boat and fishes when he is not working.  Hubby turned 79 and loves his John Deere tractor.   Cards are both 6" X 6" and I used a combination of dies and Cricut to make my cards. The pop up mechanism was same for both it was an old die set of Karen Burniston when she was with Elizabeth Craft Designs - Bathtub Pop Up.  Another time I would reshape the bathtub into a boat but I had already hand cut the boat then went looking for a die set that had a pop up mechanism to use kind of like putting the cart before the horse. Survivor Pink Sunflower and Berries

  Hello my crafty friends! Another Breast Cancer Survivor card that I created in October.  Once again I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Sunflower, Acacia and Berry Branch and for this card Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame die set. My card base is 5" X 7" made from 100# white cardstock.  Embossed layer is 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" white cardstock.  I used a swiss dot embossing folder (it is an old 8-1/2" X 11" embossing folder - I have used it so much it is taped together now).  This piece was attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Using the Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame 2  largest dies I cut 1 from pink cardstock adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.   I printed sentiment on white cardstock then die cut using the next 2 dies from Lisette die set then attached to card front using dimensional tape.
