Nasturtiums & Forget Me Nots
Hello My Crafty Friend,
Today my card is a happier card it is a birthday card for one of my nieces.
Tried a little foiling for the background of this card. Susan's older Garden Notes dies were used for the Nasturtiums, Forget Me Nots and Trevi Urn.
Step 1 Form 4-1/4" X 5-1/2" card base - I used a yellow cardstock.
Step 2 Cut black cardstock 4" X 5-1/4" using a stencil (Stampers Anonymous Mini Bricks used here), Transfer Gel and Foil ( Opal used here) make your background. Adhere to center of card front using Nuvo Adhesive Tape Runner.
Step 3 Make a frame from white cardstock using 2 nested rectangles adhere over foiled piece using Nuvo Adhesive Tape Runner.
Step 4 Die cut 2 Susan's Trevi Urns from white cardstock with adhesive on the back. Adhere one on top of the other. Color and shade. Shape a bit with your fingers add a couple pop dots on center lower back then adhere to lower center of card.
Step 5 Using Susan's Garden Notes Nasturtiums and Forget Me Nots dies either white cardstock and color or use colored cardstock and shade. Shape and assemble. Using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive arrange flowers in Trevi Urn.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and hope this has been inspirational for you.

Hello my crafty friends! My card today is call a Triple Diamond Point which I found on Sam Calcutt YouTube channel. I have created the card pretty much as Sam did but I used flowers from Spellbinders Susan's Garden Through the Meadow Collection . I used S2-414 Lavender Mountain Daisy , an older Berry Branch and some Grape Hyacinth I created myself. Also from Spellbinders I used E3D-033 Beveled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and Spellbinders Better Press BP-025 Always & Forever Sentiment Strips. The card is a 6" X 6" here is Sam's video for creating this card. Triple Diamond Point Using Susan's Garden Specialty Paper I cut 3 of the Lavender Mountain Daisies and colored with Olo Alcohol Markers V2.3 and 2.4. Hello my crafty friends! Today I have a slimline card for you and will say right up front I wish I had put basket at the bottom of the card as I normally would but was trying to mix things up a bit. I created card using Spellbinders Susan's Garden S4-1364 Paperwhites from Winters Grace Collection along with S4-1115 Gathering Basket from Holiday Collection. Spellbinders S6-186 Fluted Classic Slimline dies were used to cut frame. Spellbinders / Simon Hurley E3D-080 Woven 3D Embossing Folder was used on the basket to emphasize the basket weave. Spellbinders S4-201 (small) and S4-202 (large) Deckled Rectangle dies were used for sentiment. Card base is 4" X 9" and designer paper was cut 3-1/4" X 7-3/4" adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive . Using the 3 largest dies from the Fluted Classic Slimline Die Set a frame was cut from green cardstock. Bearly Art Glue was used to adhere the frame over t...
Hello my crafty friends! Spring is on it's way and I do not know about you but I cannot wait to get outside and play in the dirt! Today I have a card I created for a lady in town that was turning 89 and her family had requested cards hoping to get at least 89 but they got over 100. My card is a Shadowbox Frame Card and I have used Spellbinders Susan's Garden S4-1363 Cymbidium Orchid from Winter's Grace Collection , Spellbinders S4-1428 Pooh's Honey Pot ( which was a Large Die of the Month) and Creative Expressions 3D Embossing Folder EF3D-071 Weeping Willow. I made my Shadowbox from 110# white cardstock and then attached to a 5" X 7" 110# cardstock card base. Susan's video for creating the shadowbox can be found here From black cardstock I cut a piece to fit in opening and embossed using the Weeping Willow 3D embossing folder. Adhered to opening using Bearly Art Glue. Using the Pooh's Honey Pot Die I cut 2 from white cardstock that had Clear Doub...
