Nasturtiums & Forget Me Nots
Hello My Crafty Friend,
Today my card is a happier card it is a birthday card for one of my nieces.
Tried a little foiling for the background of this card. Susan's older Garden Notes dies were used for the Nasturtiums, Forget Me Nots and Trevi Urn.
Step 1 Form 4-1/4" X 5-1/2" card base - I used a yellow cardstock.
Step 2 Cut black cardstock 4" X 5-1/4" using a stencil (Stampers Anonymous Mini Bricks used here), Transfer Gel and Foil ( Opal used here) make your background. Adhere to center of card front using Nuvo Adhesive Tape Runner.
Step 3 Make a frame from white cardstock using 2 nested rectangles adhere over foiled piece using Nuvo Adhesive Tape Runner.
Step 4 Die cut 2 Susan's Trevi Urns from white cardstock with adhesive on the back. Adhere one on top of the other. Color and shade. Shape a bit with your fingers add a couple pop dots on center lower back then adhere to lower center of card.
Step 5 Using Susan's Garden Notes Nasturtiums and Forget Me Nots dies either white cardstock and color or use colored cardstock and shade. Shape and assemble. Using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive arrange flowers in Trevi Urn.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and hope this has been inspirational for you.

Hello My crafty Friends, I know it has been a long time since I posted but I have been busy changing my blog from WordPress to Blogger along with the Holidays and work. Hopefully soon I will be back posting regularly. Please do not give up on me. Here is a little card I created last fall for a dear friend's little's grandson who really is into dinosaurs. I created it using Karen Burniston's Itty Bitty Pop Up Ball, Surprise Ball Pop Up and the Flap and Closure. He was very excited when he received the card. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting! PLEASE be patient with me I am working on some new flowers and cards. Christine You only live once but if you live right once is enough! Unknown
Welcome my crafty friends, My card today has red poppies in honor of all the Veterans as we celebrate Veterans Day. I am so thankful for all those that have served our country some who have given their life for our Freedom. My card is a 6" X 6" tent fold card. Pattern paper from my stash was used to decorate front of card. The blue paper with white stars was cut 5-3/4" square then adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Flag pattern paper was cut 5" square then adhered as before. Susan's Garden Club Oriental Poppy die set was cut from white cardstock ( 3 full flowers and a bud) , colored with Copic marker then shaped. You can find tutorial video here for creating these poppies. Using the Foliage and Ladybug die set from Susan's Autumn Flora collection 3 Eucalyptus were cut from green cardstock, shaded and shaped. Several sprigs of Rosemary were created as well as 1 ladybug. Tutorial video can be found here . 2nd & 3rd Spellbinders P
Welcome Crafty Friends! Today I have a quick card for you using Susan's Garden Club Spring Flora Peony. Today I have chosen a single peony and Spellbinders Brillant Rondelle for my round card. Card base is 4-1/2" round card from my stash (I believe it was from Close to My Heart many years ago). The frame was cut from black cardstock using Spellbinders Brillante Rondelle die set. Bearly Art Glue was used to adhere frame to card front. Single Peony and 2 buds were cut from Susan's Garden Specialty paper and colored with Copic markers R01 & R02. The leaves were cut from green cardstock. All were shaped using Susan's Garden Club Deluxe Tool Kit (it is fabulous to shape flowers). Susan has a YouTube video for creating the Peony - single and double which you can find here. Kids Choice glue was used to build flowers and add leaves to card front. Ladybug was cut from Susan's Specialty Paper using Susan's Garden Club Autumn Flora Foliage & Ladybug set,
