Concertina Pop Up with Daisies and Dandelions
Hello my crafty friends!
Have been real busy in my yard so haven't been doing much paper garden but I have finally finished a couple of things.
Today I have for you a Concertina Pop Up Card Susan did on her Facebook Live a few weeks ago. I haves used the following dies from Spellbinders / Susan's Garden S3-406 Kerria Japonica from Spring Flora, S3-406 Button and Daisy Mum from Autumn Flora and Spellbinders S5-525 Essential Diamonds embossed with EF3D-049 Twill Weave 3D Embossing Folder by Creative Expressions.
The Paper I have used is P13 Hello Summer 03.The paper has daisies and dandelions on it so I have used the Kerria Japonica for the dandelions and the mum die for the daisies along with wool roving for the spent dandelions.
Finished card is 5" X 7"
Card base video here
Diamond shape was cut from green cardstock then next size down cut from white cardstock and embossed then adhered to the green diamond. Using dimensional tape Diamond was attached to card front.
The seed heads of the dandelions were created using a tiny ball I painted white (I used a little ball from a Dollar Tree Pool game. I used ball to keep from it flattening down too much) and put some black dots on it rolled in glue then wrapped a small piece of wool roving.
Video for creating the Kerria Japonica (Dandelion on this card) can be found here.
For the Daisies I used the largest die from the Button & Daisy Mum set cutting it 3 times from white cardstock. Video for Mum can be found here to show shaping. After adding the tiny yellow flowers in center I dabbed on glue and sprinkled with yellow Pollen.
Kids Choice Glue was used to build flowers and add arrangement to card front.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and you will make your own card.
Thanks for stopping by and until next time Happy Creating!
Christine
