Happy Gerber Daisies

Hello my crafty friends!

Today I have another card using dies from Spellbinders/ Susan's Garden latest release Painter's Garden.  I have chosen to use the Gerber Daisy from this new release and have put them on a slimline card.

Card base is 4" X 9" white 110# cardstock.  From dark peach cardstock a mat was cut 8-3/4" X 3-3/4" adhered to card front.  Second mat was cut from lighter peach cardstock using Spellbinders S6-186 Fluted Classic Slimline die set using 2 largest dies attach to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  White layer is designer cardstock cut using 2 next to the 2 largest dies adhered to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

From Susan's Garden Specialty Paper SCS-122   3 Gerber Daisies S5-531 were cut then colored with alcohol markers (OLO Markers were used here O2.2 & OR2.3 for the lighter daisies and OR2.3 & O1.3 for the darker one plus YG8.5 & YG8.7 for the leaves).  Once colored they were shaped using Susan's Garden Ultimate Tool Kit T021.  Susan has a YouTube Video showing how to create the Gerber Daisy which can be found here. Using Kids Choice Glue attach flowers and leaves to card front.

Thanks for stopping by today - I hope you have been inspired to create and will go make a card.

Until next time - Happy Creating!

Christine
