Hexagon Window Hugs



Hello My Crafty Friends,

Today I have another window card that I created this time I have done hexagon instead of the diamond.
Spellbinders Susan's Garden Sunflower, Oriental Lily, Ferns & Ivy and Foliage & Ladybug along With Suzanne Cannon's Hugs die.  The embossing folder is an 8X8 but has no name on it.

Card base was created using this video as a guideline - video found here  Please note that if you have stamping to do inside card do it before putting card together as it is very difficult to do after.

Spellbinders Susan's Garden Sunflower S4-1177 was cut from Susan's Specialty Paper SCS-122 colored with Copic Marker then shaped using Spellbinders Susan's Garden Ultimate Tool Kit T-021.

S5-478 Oriental Lily & Wellies die set was used to cut 2 Oriental Lilies from Susan's Specialty Paper colored and shaped.

6 Ladder Ferns were cut from green cardstock using S4-1086 Ferns & Ivy shaded and shaped.

Berry Branch from S4-1079 Foliage & Ladybug die set was cut twice from green cardstock shades and shaped.  Little Styrofoam beads were added and black dots added to balls.

Suzanne Cannon's Hugs was cut 2 times from black cardstock with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back and 1 without adhesive.  Stack 3 together and using tiny strips of black dimensional tape were used in several areas to adhere to card.

Good Morning Everyone!  Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but I have been busy getting ready to go to Creative Keepsake Convention and then going to convention. I had a great time taking classes, shopping, eating and enjoying great friends. My post today is using one of Susan's Garden new dies and one of Karen Burniston's pop up dies.  It was hard to get a good clear picture because of the shine from the glitter. Card base is an A2 size card (4-1/4 X 5-1/2) 1.  Panel is made by using Karen Burniston's accordion rectangle die.  Attach a piece of sticker paper  4-1/2 X 5-3/4 to a pc of white cardstock the same size using clear double sided adhesive. Cut 1 frame from this.  Cut the rectangle and tabs from center of frame and the long tab on the left edge of the frame. Run this frame through Sizzix machine using Hearts Entwined embossing folder (or other embossing folder of your choice)  Peel the paper from the front of the frame ( protective paper covering adhesive

Family Birthday Cards

Welcome my crafty friends! Today I have a couple birthday cards I did for our grandson and my hubby.  Our grandson and hubby share their birthday - grandson was best birthday gift ever. Our grandson turned 18 and he loves to fish he has a boat and fishes when he is not working.  Hubby turned 79 and loves his John Deere tractor.   Cards are both 6" X 6" and I used a combination of dies and Cricut to make my cards. The pop up mechanism was same for both it was an old die set of Karen Burniston when she was with Elizabeth Craft Designs - Bathtub Pop Up.  Another time I would reshape the bathtub into a boat but I had already hand cut the boat then went looking for a die set that had a pop up mechanism to use kind of like putting the cart before the horse. Survivor Pink Sunflower and Berries

  Hello my crafty friends! Another Breast Cancer Survivor card that I created in October.  Once again I used Spellbinders Susan's Garden Sunflower, Acacia and Berry Branch and for this card Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame die set. My card base is 5" X 7" made from 100# white cardstock.  Embossed layer is 4-3/4" X 6-3/4" white cardstock.  I used a swiss dot embossing folder (it is an old 8-1/2" X 11" embossing folder - I have used it so much it is taped together now).  This piece was attached to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive .  Using the Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame 2  largest dies I cut 1 from pink cardstock adhered to card front using Bearly Art Glue.   I printed sentiment on white cardstock then die cut using the next 2 dies from Lisette die set then attached to card front using dimensional tape.
